We bring them the ability to expand their work through professionally developed and lead expeditions that enhance their impact where they serve. In addition, donors' donations to water projects can support our partners who specialize in water projects or any other area so we also can help these organizations raise money to benefit their efforts as well.

It all started in 1999 in Kenya, when my wife and I found ourselves sitting in front of around 300 young people that were essentially outcasts from their society. These were orphaned children that had been turned out on streets because they lost their parents, mostly to AIDS. Many, if not most, of these kids were from the streets, begging for money to buy glue so they could sniff their hunger pains away. We sat in front of these kids for about four hours, and their desperate faces were etched into our memory so we felt compelled to return and help these kids out. So, I retired early. My retirement party was on one day and we were flying to Africa the next day. We were able to create an environment in the communities where many of these orphans lived, so that they could be taken into the homes by various families. That experience turned on a switch that changed my life. It made me more aware of the plight that many people are facing, and increased my desire to help them out when necessary.

The time has come to partner and support each other in our charitable efforts. Too much money is spent in overhead and administrative cost and not enough going directly to those who we serve. Epic Heart Adventures is seeking like-minded partners where we can leverage resources to optimize impact at the end of the line.
We can provide productive project-based expeditions to help organizations broaden their impact with out them having to build out and staff an expedition department. They get an experienced, professionally designed and delivered expedition for their interested donors and sponsors with out having to invest in the development of such support. It will build stronger ties and an understanding of their projects to donors and sponsors.
